1. What is an e-invoice?

An e-invoice is a digital representation of a transaction between a seller (supplier) and a purchaser (buyer), which is processed through a government portal for validation and record-keeping. The e-invoice replaces paper or electronic documents such as invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and refund notes.

2. Do I need an e-invoice as supporting documents if I wish to claim tax deduction or tax relief?

Yes, an e-invoice is required as proof to claim a tax deduction or tax relief.

3. How to request a validated e-invoice?

Click on the link below to access the E-Invoice Request Form to submit the required information. You are required to ensure all the information provided in the request form is accurate and complete before clicking “Submit”.

4. Who is eligible to request an e-invoice?

-Business entities with a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN)

-Individuals' request for tax deduction or business claim purposes

5. What is the timeline for the buyer to request an e-invoice?

If you require an e-invoice for your purchase, please submit the E-Invoice Request Form within three (3) calendar days from the date of the transaction or payment to ensure timely processing and compliance with LHDN guidelines.

Note: We have no obligation to entertain any e-invoice requests submitted beyond the stipulated timeframe.

Scenario 1: The customer purchased on 1 Jan 2025 and attempted to request an e-invoice on 4 Jan 2025. This request cannot be submitted and processed by us.

6. When can I receive the validated e-invoice?

Please allow up to 3 working days from the date of request for the validated e-invoice to be sent to you.

7. How will I receive the validated e-invoice?

The validated e-invoice will be sent to the email address that you provided in the E-Invoice Request Form. Please check your email inbox. If unavailable, please check the spam/junk folder. Alternatively, you can log in to myInvois Portal (myinvois.hasil.gove.my) and retrieve the successful e-invoice document details.

8. Can I resubmit the E-invoice Request Form two times for the same receipt?

No, only one (1) submission is allowed for one sales receipt/ order number. 

If any required details are incorrect or incomplete, we may request additional information, which may cause a delay in processing. To avoid delays, please ensure all details provided are accurate before submitting your request.

4. 谁有资格申请 e-invoice?

5. 买方申请 e-invoice 的时间限制?

若您需要 e-invoice,请在交易或付款日后的 3个日历日内 提交申请表格,以确保我们可按 LHDN 指引及时处理。

注意: 超过3天提交的申请,我们将不予受理。

举例说明:客户于 2025年1月1日购买产品,并于1月4日提交 e-invoice 申请 → 不予处理。

6. 我多久可以收到验证后的 e-invoice?

请允许我们在收到完整申请后的 最多3个工作日内 将验证过的 e-invoice 发出。

7. 我会通过什么方式收到验证后的 e-invoice?

验证成功的 e-invoice 会寄送至您在申请表格中所填写的电子邮箱。请检查邮箱收件匣;若未收到,请查看垃圾邮件或促销文件夹。
您也可登录 IRBM 的 myInvois Portal(myinvois.hasil.gov.my)查阅您已验证成功的 e-invoice 文件。

8. 同一张收据是否可以提交 e-invoice 申请表两次?

不可以。每张销售收据或订单号码仅限提交一次申请表。

如资料填写不完整或有误,我们可能会要求您提供额外信息,可能导致处理延误。为了避免此情况,请在提交前仔细确认所有资料正确无误。
